Global Stamping Friends Bloghop 12

I absolutely cannot believe that I have been a part of this amazingly talented group of women for 12 — TWELVE — bloghops already!  It just amazes me every month to see what wonderful projects everyone has put together.  And each month I am humbled and inspired by them.  So, without further ado, Blog Hop 12: Kids cards!  I had a lot of fun with this one.  I love making cards for kids.  It may be my favorite thing to do.  Besides Christmas cards, that is.  :)

I started out with my new favorite set: Magical Mermaid.  I love her!  I colored her using water colors and then gave her shimmer with Wink of Stella.

Next, I used a smoothing technique I found on Splitcoast Stampers to create her underwater background.  Added a sentiment, and voila!

I stamped the envelope to coordinate, and this beauty is ready to go in the mail next week to a special little girl!
