Christmas, and all of the craziness that it brings, is behind us. The kids are back at school. Life is resuming some form of normalcy. Well, I’m learning a new job at work, thanks to a corporate buy out, so “normal” is really a relative term right now. Ha ha! Unfortunately all of the running, and shopping, and late nights, and brain-taxing have meant there hasn’t really been much time to craft and stamp. I’ve had all of these wonderful ideas bouncing around, but the majority of the time, I’ve left my craft station frustrated because nothing wanted to translate to paper. And then, Stampin’ Up! announced the Occasions catty preorder, and Sale-a-Bration, and that was all she wrote. So many beautiful sets, so little time!
So, the Global Stamping Friends decided that a Sale-a-Bration themed hop was in order. How else would we be able to show off these amazing products?!?!
Here are a few of the things I’ve created using products from the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogues (that went live Jan 4th):
I have a special friend in mind for this Dragonfly Dreams card. I just love the way it turned out!
Next up is the card I made for my cousin’s daughter, who turns 11 this week. I used the Big on Birthdays stampset for this one.
And finally, because I don’t do much scrapbooking anymore, I decided to do a little something with this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. The Sale-a-Bration item is the beautiful metallic woven ribbon used for the accent.
If you’d like to purchase any of the products I’ve used here, please either email me directly or check out my online store!
That’s all I have until next time. So, in the meantime, please take a look at the next blog, by Jenn Curtis Charles.
